Residential
Between history and modernity
Private Villa, Italy
Just a few steps away from the historic centre of Recanati, with a breathtaking view on the surrounding natural landscape, we find a wonderful villa able to blend in perfectly with the historical Medieval styled town. Light and rosey colours, along with squared shapes and wide archways that frame the windows, are all elements that connect the structure with the local architecture and make it a seamless addition to it. American Walnut, in Oiled Walnut finish, is a common thread throughout all the environments – living zone, night zone and relax area – giving warmth, comfort and authentic beauty.
The living zone
The entrance to the villa, on the ground floor, leads directly into the living zone: a space that presents itself as bright, warm and welcoming, thanks to the natural light that comes through the wide windows and to the colors that characterise the space – most of all, the natural shades of wood. The boiserie with storage system in Oiled American Walnut and the custom wall bookshelf, characterised by the shelves’ growing depth, are elements that represent the perfect synthesis of aesthetic and functionality. The villa’s strong personality is expressed through the choice to use the V-Code boiserie from the Relevo collection, created by Arte Brotto and Foglie d’Oro. Its curved shape endorses the wall’s shape, while the integrated doors give the guest access to the stairs and the elevator to reach the other stories of the house.
The relax area
The villa has a wide environment, located in the basement, dedicated to free time – relax and leisure. In these spaces too the use of American Walnut wood has a key role in defining the aesthetic and the experience of residents and guests. The V-Code 3D boiserie from Relevo collection that characterises the entrance of this ground is in fact of this same material, American Walnut in Oiled Walnut finishing.
In the following room we can find an internal swimming pool, surrounded by archways that reference the external features of the structure and the historical town centre. The V-Code 3D boiserie, which also includes a doorway and a bar counter, allows the connection of the two different rooms. Through the dynamic impression created with its low-relief milled surface, the wood also recalls the water’s movement.
Lastly, walking through the archways we gain access to the last zone of the basement: a hall with a coffered ceiling, entirely custom made and in Oiled American Walnut, which also presents an integrated video projector. This unique element enrichens the environment and transforms the room in the ideal place where to take a break.
The night zone
The master bedroom, in the basement, is surrounded by a tailor-made boiserie created by Arte Brotto from the designer’s drawing. The warm shades and the smell of wood give whoever enters the room an instant sense of comfort and ease, creating the ideal atmosphere for a bedroom.
Besides, we also find the V-Code 3D boiserie from the Relevo collection again on the first floor, which is where we find the villa’s night zone. The presence of this element, in fine Oiled American Walnut, has multiple advantages, from guaranteeing a common element in the interior’s style, to creating an atmosphere of beauty and comfort, which is an essential feature in a space meant to offer relaxation and rest after long days.
