Boutique Hotel, Italy
The mountains as an evocative backdrop to the north, the Po valley eastward, from where you can imagine the lagoon of Venice in the background. This is the location hosting the extraordinary Villa Cà Apollonio, in province of Vicenza. Built in the 15th century, the villa is the key unit in the ambitious Ca’ Apollonio Heritage redevelopment project, which includes a bistrot, a gourmet restaurant and a boutique hotel. For these areas, Arte Brotto created custom furnishings, with some iconic products from its collections and modular solutions, such as modular and multifunctional wall panelings and walk-in closets, making the whole location consistent thanks to the natural beauty of wood.
The gourmet Restaurant
Tables and bases in the Social Table room and the Sala degli Affreschi, in the gourmet restaurant, are all custom-made in oiled walnut and grey eucalyptus. Their shapes are inspired by the colonnade of Canova’s Temple in Possagno, Treviso. The U Code 3D modular wall paneling, with Shadow finish, upholsters the walls with its elegant three-dimensional effect and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. On the other hand, the Urban_H multifunctional modular wall paneling performs the dual function of cladding and storage. In the center of the main room, the Vero table in solid oiled walnut, with custom base, stands out: a masterpiece as unique as its location.
The common areas
In such a high-level project as Cà Apollonio Heritage is, every detail is studied and designed to give coherence to the whole location. Thus, for the common transit areas from the Reception to the Bistrot, Arte Brotto created custom recesses in oiled walnut, suitable to hold bottles from the wine cellar and to act as a bookcase. The sideboard from Leonardo collection in solid walnut, completes the entrance furniture with its unmistakable eco-design and for the Residence Lounge area, the bookcase wall has been produced in walnut Noce Oliato finish and eucalyptus.
The Bistrot
The Bistrot is also embellished with custom furnishings: coffee tables are all designed and made in a coherent shape with the elegance of the villa and benches are enriched with oiled walnut planters. Benches alternate with recesses – in oiled walnut, too – and enliven the whole room, also hosting an outstanding closet with two recessed doors. The top of the bar counter, inspired by the design concept of Vero table – twin planks of solid wood, both carved from the core of the same trunk and perfectly joined – gives the distinctive signature to the appearance of Bistrot area. An oiled walnut chest of drawers signed by Arte Brotto also stands out in the service corner. The bathroom is consistently furnished with a sideboard from Leonardo Collection, a six-door closet and an eucalyptus wood cabinet.
The bedroom area
Leaving behind the common areas and the rooms for conviviality and food and wine excellence (Bistrot and Gourmet Restaurant), anyone can experience the quiet of the sleeping area. The corridor of the Suites bedrooms is enriched with U Code 3D modular boiserie. It gives the corridor strenght and warmth and creates a clear aesthetic continuity with the other rooms. In the Gourmet Restaurant, the U Code 3D boiserie is chosen in Shadow finish; here instead, in Piombo finish, it creates a pleasant discontinuity within a coherence in materials.
The Suites
Wood is an ancient and contemporary material, highly sustainable and able to be preserved over time without losing its very high quality. That’s why, wood has been chosen for this extraordinary redevelopment design project of a historical villa surrounded by greenery. Same choice for the 7 suites hosted by Ca’ Apollonio boutique hotel: Life walk-in closet by Arte Brotto perfectly integrates in the large and the small suite and defines their size by supporting their appearance with coherent finishes. Authentic luxury, completed with the elegant TV cabinets.
