Vero table. One concept, endless unique pieces.

The Vero table reminds us that in nature there are no defects, only signature features: details that make every form of life unique. Starting from this concept and thanks to the extraordinary availability of top quality wood guaranteed by the complete control over the entire supply chain, Arte Brotto has designed an iconic table – always recognisable, each time different.

Vero is created from the union of two twin solid wood boards, obtained from the central and noblest part of the trunk, where the diameter is larger. Perfectly matched, they are joined through the application of special handmade joints, also made of solid wood or metal – if you want to give the table a more contemporary style. The edges are left as they are in nature, with their characteristic irregular profile.

Starting from this concept, Arte Brotto is able to create extremely different pieces: not only for the shape of the boards, but also for the possibility of choosing from the many finishes available and combining the top with legs of different designs and materials.

The Vero table in solid walnut wood with Ca’ Conti finish with epoxy resin insert is a wonderful example of the endless possibilities of customisation that Arte Brotto offers. The skilful use of resin fills voids created in the trunk over time, due to the natural changing of the seasons, heat and cold, as well as other events that the tree has experienced over the years.

So an apparent defect becomes, thanks to Arte Brotto’s creativity, an expressive possibility and a one-of-a-kind aesthetic feature. The visual impact is outstanding: the resin insert runs the entire length of the table – over 5 metres – and seen from above it recalls the sinuous and solemn development of a river across the plain.

The joints of the two boards are in walnut wood, the same as the top, to ensure aesthetic balance to the whole and leave the resin to give a strongly characterising touch. The legs, with their rigorous geometry, create a pleasant contrast with the irregularities of the top: made of metal in warm brass tones, they give the table design an additional contemporary touch.

The magnificence of this table is a synthesis of luxury and attention to the well-being of the environment and people, thanks to the use of healthy and safe products for the finishes.
